Hi Helen,
Yes, I have tried bloodroot. In fact it is one ingredient in my primary herbal remedy.

Hi, Ray,
Thanks. What's your herbal remedy? Does it help?
My friends father and son both afflicted with prostate cancer. 88 year old too old to have operation but his son 58 year old is scheduled to have operation next Jan. Does that the good choice for the immediately treatment. I am more opt to alternative ways to deal with cancer. I do think he should wait to try various ways to treat the causes instead of symptoms. welcome our members input. Thanks in advance.
Also Kathryn, thank you for the information about ompound X and skin cancer. I will save on my file in case I can help people.

I just learned today that you CANNOT use anything anti-inflamatory with it.

Helen, Have to be careful with bloodroot and similar plants.
I managed to get rid of a basal cell carcinoma using cansema (a bloodroot preparation) in about two weeks. Bubbled up, crusted over and finally fell off leaving three spots around a punch biopsy which had been positive for cancer in the margins. The eventual surgery found no cancer, so the bloodroot got it.
Large patches might be very painful!! The Bloodroots have the capability of digging in and going after a cancer, so one needs to be very careful with it. With a small mild cancer such as BCC I'd have no problem doing it again if needed.

Re: Paw PawPosted by: hamaker1445 Mon Nov 12, 2007 4:35 pm (PST)
My husband is taking this Paw Paw so far with good results (PSA dropped by half) but it's part of a protocol designed by Dr. Kimberly Balas (referenced on Dr. McLaughlin's website). 3 stages: first to kill the cancer cells, then detox them from the body, then build the immune system.
If anyone is interested, the herbalist we're working with was actually trained by Dr. Balas and is in frequent contact with her, you can just email me and I can give that info.

There is alot of stuff on the net, here is one that clarified some things for me. http://www.pawpawresearch.com/visual.htm I have recently bought some PP (nature's sunshine) but have not began taking it yet.----------------------------------------

Hi, Lisa.
It appears Paw Paw is for real---I mean that it does indeed kill cancer and not other cells for some significant portion of those with cancer who take it. The herbalist I met in Indiana has also been prescribing it with good results. He prescribes a good bit of other things with it, such as magnesium, iodine, etc, but I believe it is safe to say that Paw Paw extract has demostrable cancer killing properties, in vitro, in vivo and in real, live human beings. It's nice to be able to be so very positive about an easily available, easily takeable alternative supplement that even has a definite dosage and a definite time frame for how long it should take before it begins showing results.
Best wishes,
Elliot

Elliot,
Do you know if Paw Paw is effective on bone mets? Does it cause inflammation during the healing process?
Thank you,
Cindy

Where can I get this paw paw?
I am a cancer survivor but going on semi annual check ups with blood test and CT scan which deteced something in my lung. My initial cancer was colon, the tumor was removed by the surgery and even though my cancer was a second stage, there were no spread to lymphs so I didn't have to go through chemo nor radiation.
I am taking some supplements mainly Japanese/Braizilan mushrooms call "Agalisk/maitake" with some kind of seaweed call "Mozuku" only lived in Okinawa, Japan.
Supplement is called Fukoidan. Some studies in Japan showed progress in cancer patients for those pills. But basically those are to enhance immune system but I don't think will fight with cancer cells. I would like to know more about this Paw Paw
thing.
Thank you.
